I’m thrilled to announce that Amanda White Digital has been featured in a niche book all about SEO! Not only is this a tick off the business bucket list, but perhaps a small step toward closing the gender gap in the world of SEO too.
The Unfortunate Truth
Like much of tech, SEO is an incredibly male-dominated industry and according to a 2020 study, men outnumber women 2-1! Despite this, many women haven’t been discouraged from joining the field, especially with help from initiatives such as Women in Tech SEO. Their goal is to give exposure to brilliant females in the industry, many of whom have also been featured in the book.

Looking ahead
The world of SEO still has a long way to go when it comes to closing the gender gap, but I’m optimistic that we can move it forward to a more inclusive industry. Being featured in publications such as this alongside other amazing professionals in the field is a great achievement for Amanda White Digital and SEO in Cornwall. I hope it inspires others, especially women, to explore this rewarding career.
