Intentional Health Case Study

Client Case Study – Intentional Health

The Problem

When Intentional Health came to Amanda White Digital, they had several problems:

  • They had an ageing website built on Squarespace that they wanted to move to WordPress.
  • They had little social media presence.
  • Had lots of legacy systems in a variety of locations that weren’t talking to each other.
  • They had lots of ideas but no idea how to tie them all together.

Intentional Health are a charity based in Cornwall that work with people to encourage a healthier, happier and more hope filled life. Historically Intentional Health ran face to face regular courses.

However, since the pandemic, they have moved to an online training strategy. Meaning that they can open up their course to more people across the country and not just for people local to them in Cornwall.

The Strategy

Our first step was to move the legacy website from Squarespace to WordPress. The WordPress website is now a hub that directs users to the digital learning platform on Thinkific.

With the website in its new location, I was tasked with tidying up any legacy SEO issues caused by the move. Not all of the content from the old website was wanted on the new website and therefore a process of redirect mapping and moving content has been implemented.

With the website in its new location, together we created a roadmap to increasing visibility of the charity.

We had brain storming sessions for content creation which included lead generating content.

This lead generating content is now continually building a mailing list via Mailchimp for the charity.

With a content calendar mapped out, we turned our focus to driving more visits to the website via Social Media.

We created a social media plan for regular organic social media posts for Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to increase overall awareness of the brand and its courses.

To tie all of this together, we then ran a Facebook advertising campaign using video to further drive awareness. This campaign utilised lookalike audiences to find similar customers to their existing audience.

  • Lookalike Website Visitors
  • Lookalike Social Media Visitors
  • Lookalike existing course attendees.

The Results

  • Increase in visits to the website from Twitter
Intentional Health Twitter traffic growth.
  • Increase in Visits to the website from Facebook
Intentional health Facebook growth.
  • Increase in Organic Traffic to the website with no drop in traffic when moving from Squarespace to WordPress.

Without adjusting the budget, we were able to tweak the campaign to prioritise what was working during the course of the promotion and increase reach, without increasing the budget.

Intentional Health Facebook Advertising Reach

When Intentional Health came to me, they had a multitude of areas that they wanted to work on.

Working together, we discussed priorities of moving websites whilst maintaining existing traffic.

We now have the opportunity to work together moving forwards to really make a difference now that lots of little areas have been brought together.

Intentional Health are now in a position to really grow via Digital Marketing.
