14 Nov I’m a Notty’s Business Awards Finalist!
It is with immense pride, and a touch of surprise to tell the truth, that I can announce I have been nominated for the Marketing Maestro award at this year’s Notty’s Business Awards. Not only have I been nominated, but I have also made it into the final three, with the winner set to be announced on November 23rd at the awards ceremony at Winslade Manor. It is thanks to my brilliant clients that I can go head-to-head with the best in the South West, beating hundreds of other applicants, and come out with nominations like this.
What is The Notty’s Business Awards?
The Notty’s are the annual awards ceremony held by The Notworking Networking Club, a networking club designed to create more meaningful business relationships by removing pitching. The awards were created to celebrate and recognise the best business talent in the South West of the UK, which is what makes this so special for me.
The Marketing Maestro Award specifically is for the business that pushes the boundaries of digital marketing, leveraging innovative strategies & tech to deliver real results. Thanks to results such as those I’ve had working with We Wear Boost, the judges awarded me into the final three. There are a lot of good marketers down here so to be recognised by the panel as one of the best gives me great faith to keep doing what I do.
The panel of judges is made up of 5 successful businessmen and women with a keen eye for what great business looks like. They are tasked with picking the winner of each award, with fifteen categories in total. Having whittled the entrants down from 350 to just 3 per category, I’m sure this will be the hardest part of the whole process. Check out The Notty’s website to find out more about the judges.
Why Business Awards are Important to Small Businesses
Business awards such as The Notty’s are so important to business owners like myself. There a sure-fire sign that we continue to deliver outstanding work for our clients. In such a competitive industry, it can be easy to doubt yourself, so I am delighted that others can see the great work my clients and I work together to deliver.
With over 350 applicants for this year’s Notty’s, to be the only PPC agency in Cornwall in the final three of the Marketing Maestro category shows just how far my business has come. Nominations alone are what can set small businesses apart and ultimately help them grow as their reputation also grows. Using these awards as a ‘badge’ to show my clients that they can trust what I’m doing is an invaluable tool.
It is with this being said, that I want to thank every one of my clients, past and present, for their support over the years. Without your trust and positivity, none of this would be possible. So please keep your fingers crossed and come November 23rd I hopefully will have a shiny new award to show you all.
